Assistant Director of Education Position in Pasco, Washington
Northwest Anesthesia Seminars is a well established company in the field of continuing medical education. We are seeking a career minded professional whose primary job duties will consist of, but not be limited to, the following:
-Be the main point of contact for our accrediting bodies
-Maintain knowledge of, and assist with compliance in the requirements of accrediting bodies
-Provide needs assessment, target audience analysis, course objectives, syllabus materials (including all topics objectives, evaluation instruments, and test item development) for accreditation and approval of each educational program offered by the company
- Oversee development and perform research to support new curriculum requirements
-Assist non-medical staff in the use of these materials for preparation of documents for advertising, course management and faculty/participant communication
-Serve as an adviser in decisions and procedures of the company as they relate to accreditation and educational requirements
-Create, prepare, and provide documentation and perform other administrative tasks for the purpose of confirming participant fulfillment of requirements for credentialing, licensure and professional status
-Answer phone calls and emails from attendees to answer questions they may have regarding their accreditation and educational requirements
-Function within and support of the mission, organization, and goals of the company
Our office is located in Pasco, Washington. This position would require working in our office, Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week.
QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum education requirement: Master’s Degree. CRNA or ARNP degree preferred, but not required. MUST HAVE: Medical education background, knowledge of anesthesia terminology, excellent phone/customer service skills, strong computer/word processing skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet, e-mail). The ideal candidate will be detail oriented, reliable, able to work independently, able to lift 50 pounds, and must pass a criminal background check.
